在中国经济发展的过程中，经济密度作为区域经济发展水平的重要测度指标，在协调区域发展中发挥积极作用，日益成为当代区域经济研究的新视角。在回顾国内外相关研究文献的基础上，文章分别从理论和实证研究视角系统性地构建中国经济密度研究框架，形成包括密度模型、动力机制、影响效应、全方位实证研究（维度、尺度、时段、方法）在内的完整研究体系，在实证研究方面还提供了相关的研究案例借鉴，以期为中国经济密度的进一步研究指明方向，对于经济地理和区域经济研究具有重要的理论、方法与政策意义。

英文摘要：

With the rapid development of China’s economy, the economic density, as an important measure indicator of regional economy level, has played a positive role in coordinating regional economy and increasingly become a new perspective of the modern research on regional economy. Based on the brief review of international and domestic literatures on economic density,this article systematically establishes China’s economic density research framework respectively from the viewpoint of theoretical research and empirical research, which means constructing a complete research system including density model, dynamic mechanism, influence effect and all-around empirical research （consisting of indicators, scales, periods and methods）, and provides related case studies for reference in the empirical research section. From the above, we aim at indicating the direction of further research on China’s economic density, which will have important theory, method and policy implications for the economic geography and regional economy studies.
