Some new development in the image reconstruction algorithm of electrical impedance tomography has been introduced. The development includes imaging of conductivity changes and electrode movement in EIT, 3D reconstruction algorithm for EIT using a handheld probe for breast cancer detection, the method for modelling and optimizing an electrical impedance tomography system, direct reconstruction of tissue parameters from differential multifrequency EIT in vivo , reducing boundary effects in static EIT imaging and so on.
