The key technique in image processing is how to obtain the real and constancy colors reconstruction by color correction. This paper firstly analyzed the major factors of effect on color distortion, and discussed the various representative methods of color correction and the improved mechanism, then further introduced the different application of color correction in image processing. At last, this paper pointed out the future development trends of color correction.
