一种改进的SPIHT算法在原算法的基础上,以图像的平均值为临界点进行分解,形成分裂图像分别进行压缩,并利用小波分解的特点及人眼的视觉特性,对分解的低频子带的重要系数做特殊的处理。经仿真实验证明,改进SPIHT算法在相同的情况下得到重构图像的PSNR值高于原算法,压缩的整体性优于原SPIHT算法。
This paper proposes an improved SPIHT algorithm.Based on SPIHT algorithm,decomposing the image in critical point of average value and compressing respectively.Then,using the special of wavelet transform and the characteristics of the human visual,low frequency sub-image significant wavelet coefficients are specially treated.Finally,the experimental results show that the PSNR value is higher than that of the original SPIHT at the same situations and this algorithm is competitive to the SPIHT algorithm.
