Because of the uncertain factors, the hull section hoisting accidents occurred frequently in recent years, huge loss of life and property were created to shipyard. Therefore, a kind of safety lifting lug was proposed for the large hull sections hoist- ing. It added an insurance in the hull section hoisting to minimize the loss and harm when the accident happened.
