The application and promotion of situational teaching in our country cannot be separated from the change of teachers＇ role and the improvement of comprehensive quality. In the process of implementation, teacher＇s role needs to be shifted from imparting knowledge into answering questious, from a classroom instructor to an inspiring guide,from a controller to an innovator. Teachers＇ subject accomplishment, education and teaching quality, education wisdom and art dctermine the quality of situational teaching. The combination of theoretical study and practical reflection,the unity of on campus learning and off campus learning, as well as the combination of traditional teaching skills and modem educational technology are the fundamental ways to promote the professional quality of teachers.
