Three pyrrole and five indole Michael addition products(2a - 2c and 3a - 3e, 2b, among them, 3a - 3e were novel compounds) , in yield of 80% -92% , were synthesized under solvent-free conditions, catalyzed by N - H of pyrrole or indole. The d/r of 3a - 3c were 3.8 : 1, 1.3 : 1 and 1.1 : 1, respectively. The structures were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR and HR-MS (ESI).
