The bottom diagnosis network of mobile equipment is the key and basic part of long-range fault diagnosis system. The task requirement of bottom diagnosis network for mobile equipment was introduced. On the basis of this, the bottom diagnosis network was constructed by means of embedded technology and field bus technology. The bi-CAN bus was taken as communication network to ensure expandability of the system and reliability of the communication. The typical format of communication message was introduced. The on-line fault diagnosis data flow of bottom diagnosis network was designed, and the typical operation mode was described. Design and realization of bottom diagnosis network can provide a solid hardware platform for the function expansion and relevant research of the system.
