基于辽宁省农民工2014年抽样调查数据,利用改进的Brown分解对性别歧视、行业间隔与农民工性别工资差异的关系进行考察。研究发现,农民工的性别工资差异主要是由性别歧视所造成,且通常体现在行业内的歧视效应上;行业间隔在农民工性别工资差异上的作用较小。由此,消除行业内同工不同酬的性别歧视是解决当前农民工性别工资差异的关键所在。
Based on the survey data of sample migrant workers conducted in 2014 in Liaoning Province, this paper studied the relationships between gender discrimination, trade gap and gender wage gap by using the method of improved Brown decomposition.It was found that while industry interval plays little role,wage differ- ences between genders among migrant workers are mainly caused by gender discrimination, which is mainly re- fleeted in the discrimination effect within the industry.It is concluded that eliminating gender discrimination within the industry is the key to bridging gender wage difference for migrant workers.
