Organic filed-effect transistors using pentacene have been fabricated employing polyimide gate dielectrlc layers. Using the atomic force microscopic (AFM) images analyzed the polyimide layer and pentacene thin film surface morphologies. The authors use the top contact structure to fabricate the organic filed-effect transistors. The highest mobility of the device is 0. 079cm^2/(V · s), the on/off ratio is about 10^4.
