介绍了聚苯并咪唑的化学改性方法和应用进展。聚苯并咪唑的1-N原子上的H原子具有一定的活性,可以发生烷基取代、酰基化和交联等化学反应,从而实现聚苯并咪唑的功能化,也可改善聚苯并咪唑的光稳定性、热稳定性以及韧性和强度。综述了近年来聚苯并咪唑国内外的研究进展和应用,利用聚苯并咪唑的芳香性和聚苯并咪唑上孤对电子可以与金属形成配位化合物的特性实现了聚苯并咪唑在催化剂载体、甲醇直接燃料电池和金属分离等领域的应用;利用聚苯并咪唑良好的热稳定性和优异的力学性能实现其在结构材料领域的应用。初步探讨了聚苯并咪唑未来发展的重点方向。
The chemical modification and applications of polybenzimidazole are introduced briefly in this paper. The alkylation,acylation and crosslinking reaction can take place on the 1-N in polybenzimidazole which could be attributed to the active H of the 1-N. So polybenzimidazole can be functionalized and their properties such as optics stability, thermal stability, toughness and strength can be improved. The domestic and overseas advances and applications of polybenzimidazole are reviewed. Polybenzimidazoles have successfully been applied on the carrier of catalyst, methanol direct fuel cell and metal separation owing to their aromaticity and ability to form coordination compounds for the existence of lone-pair electron. They have also found applicated on structural materials which could be attributed to their thermal stability and good mechanical properties. The trends in development of polybenzimidazole are also tenta- tively discussed.
