白炭黑是一种人工合成的白色质轻超细的无定形二氧化硅多孔粉体材料。本文介绍了白炭黑的组成、聚集态结构、表面结构和独特的物化性能,指出:非晶态的SiO2颗粒,纳米级的一次粒子,复杂的粒子内部结构和表面结构,是白炭黑具有比表面积大、活性高等优良物理化学性能的根本原因,因而广泛应用于橡胶、塑料、油漆涂料等行业,尤其在白色或浅色填料的应用中,与炭黑相比,具有不可替代性。通过进一步介绍白炭黑的生产工艺与工业应用现状,对比白炭黑的气相法和沉淀法两种生产工艺及其产品特点,提出今后的发展方向是:进一步改进白炭黑沉淀法生产工艺,提高产品质量;加强白炭黑表面改性技术研究,进一步提高白炭黑产品附加值。

Because of its high specific surface area, high activity and other properties, white carbon black is widely used in rubber, plastics, paint, coatings and other industries, especially in the white or light-colored filler applications, it is irreplaceable performance compared with the carbon black Meanwhile, the information on white carbon black production process and industrial application status is introduced. The production processes and the products' application statuses of fumed and precipitated methods are compared and the futuredevelopment directions are put out: One is improving the production process of precipitated silica and quality of product, the other is strengthening the studies of white carbon black surface modification to further enhance the added values.
