LIU Xiang-Jie Received his Ph.D. degree from Research Center of Automation, Northeastern University in 1997. He subsequently held post doctor program in Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) until 1999. He was a research associate in University of HongKong, a professor in National University of Mexico. He is now a professor in North China Electric Power University. His current research interests include neuro-fuzzy control and predictive control theory and its application.(E-mail: liuxj@ncepu.edu.cn) LIU Ji-Zhen Received his master degree from North China Electric Power University (NCEPU) in China in 1982. He is currently president of NCEPU, chief council member of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, and a council member of the Chinese Association of Automation. His current research interests include optimization technology in thermal process and supervisory information system of power plant.
