The research progress of C/C-SiC friction materials was summarized, and the development history of C/C-SiC was sketched briefly. The influence factors of friction and wear properties of C/C- SiC were analyzed in detail, and the friction and wear mechanism was analyzed too. Finally, the modification and application of C/C-SiC were introduced, and the focus of the future research was proposed.
