本文利用中国工业企业数据库,分析了中国制造业市场集中度动态变化及其影响因素。研究结果表明1998-2001年中国制造业市场集中度处于短暂上升阶段,之后处在相对稳定状态,2004年以后集中度在波动中明显下降,但2004年以后短暂下降并不能改变20世纪90年代以来集中度的整体上升态势。进一步研究发现,规模经济对中国制造业市场集中度不存在显著的正向影响,资本密集度、广告销售比率显著提高了市场集中度,市场规模扩大降低了市场集中度,私营经济、外资经济与市场集中度之间存在一种非线性的U型关系。
Using the database of Chinese industrial firms, this paper analyzes the dynamic changes in the market clustering of China' s manufacturing industry and the influencing factors. The results show that the clustering over the 1998 - 2001 period stays at a phase of brief upswing. However, after 2004, brief downswing could not change the fact of upswing of such clustering sine the 1990s. Further study finds that scale economy has no significant positive impact on the market clustering of China' s manufacturing industry, capital intensiveness and advertising sales ratio have improved the clustering significantly, the expansion of market scale decreases the clustering, and that there is a nonlinear U -shaped relationship among private economy, foreign- funded economy and market clustering.
