MOOC的蓬勃发展在为广大英语学习者带来大量便利、优质免费的学习资源和学习机会的同时,也为大学英语课程教学带来了巨大的冲击和挑战。面对冲击与挑战,高校英语教师应主动从大学英语教学手段、教学方法和教学内容上寻求新的突破,研究并借鉴MOOC教学模式,把MOOC教学的优点与传统大学英语教学的优势进行有机结合,充分发挥各自特色,提升大学英语教学质量,推动大学英语教学模式改革。

The vigorous development of MOOC has not only brought great convenience,quality and free study resources,but also huge impact and challenges to the majority of English Learners. Facing the impact and challenge,university and college teachers should take active actions to make new breakthrough in teaching techniques,teaching methods and teaching contents to research on and learn from MOOC teaching mode. It is necessary to combine the strength of MOOC teaching method with traditional English teaching methods to display their relative advantages and promote the reform of college English teaching mode.
