Based on the structure and self-made production of the poisonous bottle,which is necessary for entomological teaching practice in higher agricultural universities and colleges,the differences of the ordinary poisonous bottle from the self-made one were compared. The characteristics,structure and functions of the self-made poisonous bottle were described in details,and the inspiring and training of the self-made practical teaching device for students＇ innovative consciousness and invention were also elaborated.
