英文摘要：
Literature about the relationships between product modularity and supply chain integration is still in its infancy, and there is no consensus among researchers. Some literature suggests that product modularity leads to, or at least enables a loosely coordinated supply chain and may diminish the need for extensive internal integration. Others argue that product modularity could lead to more supply chain integration. By using four units of analysis on Shenzhen Inovance Technology Co., Ltd., this study provides further explanations of the impact of PM on SCI. Results show that different types of PM aim to achieve different goals through SCI. When the modularity is adopted by functional products efficiency support through SCI is more emphasized, but When the modularity is adopted by innovative products both efficiency and innovation support through SCI are emphasized.
