英文摘要：

Objective： To summarize the advantages of metabonomics technology and promote its application in the study of physical constitution. Methods： It is stated that the effective factors of traditional Chinese medical constitution and the progress of metabonomics technology in the study of physical constitution. Results： The research mentality and technique of traditional Chinese medical constitution were expanded. It could accelerate the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and modern biotechnology. As a result,modernization of traditional Chinese medicine could be driven. Conclusion： There is something in common between the theory of metabonomics technology and theory of traditional Chinese medical constitution,such as the holism and the dynamic variation. The metabonomics technology is used to study the classification of constitution and the relationship between constitution and disease. It is significant for the modernization of theories of traditional Chinese medicine.
