Based on the theory of ＂constitution can be divided＂,＂body disease-related＂and＂physical adjustable＂ of Professor WANG Qi,the pathogenesis of acne and damp-heat constitution closely related,the clinical manifestations of acne accord with damp-heat constitution features,the pathogenesis of acne based on hot-humid constitution and manifested by poison,stasis and phlegm together,and claims the point of view that treating acne should be from the damp-heat constitution.This paper based on the clinical characteristics,etiloogy and pathogenesis of acne,take the clinical case of professor WANG Qi in treating acne by clearing heat and exerting dampness intervention for damp-heat constitution type,for example,to show the superiority of treating acne based on body constitution and the guiding significance to clinical.
