英文摘要：
A characteristic block-centered difference method is proposed for the linear RLW equation. We not only get the approximate solution and its first derivatives, but also give the L^2 norm error estimates,and numerical results consistent with the analysis of the theory which denmonstrates feasibility efficiency of the method.
