A blend of polymer fiber and lignin fiber was used to improve the overall performance and decrease the project cost. Its pavement performance and resistance of reflective cracking were investigated by Marshall test, wheel track test, freezing-and-thawing cracking test and anti-reflective cracking test. Results indicate that hybrid fiber improves the high temperature anti-rutting and low temperature anti-cracking performance and good capacity of anti-reflective cracking, exhibiting sound cost-effectiveness. 2figs., 4tabs., 8refs.
