英文摘要：
A characteristic finite volume element method is given for one dimensional two-phase incompressible flow in porous media. On the original grid, piecewise linear polynomial function space is used as the trial function space in this method. And on the dual grid, piecewise constant function space is used as the test function space. Combining the characteristic method and the finite volume element method, a characteristic finite volume element one is formalated. Finally an error estimate in the H1-norm is given.
