A novel α- { [ （ 5-fluoro-2,4-dioxo-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-1-2H-yl ） acetyl ] amino } benzylpropanoie acid was synthesized by earbodiimide method from 5-fluorouraeil-1-yl acetic acid, N,N＇-dieyelohexylearbo-diimide and L-phenylalanine using 1-hydroxybenzotrizole as an auxiliary reagent. The structure was characterized by IR and elemental analysis.
