本文以无皂乳液聚合法制备的聚丙烯酸微球乳液为例,介绍了一种新的透射电镜样品的制样方法。即直接将粘稠状乳液滴在铜网上,随即刮去多余的大部分乳液从而在铜网上形成极薄的连续膜或间断膜。采用这种制样方法,无需对乳液进行稀释,即可得到适用于TEM观察的样品。利用TEM直观地观察到了聚丙烯酸微球紧密排列的单层膜和球表面存在包裹物的结构,分析了包裹物的元素组成。此外,还观察到了聚丙烯酸微球紧密排列的自组装双层膜和多层膜的形态。
In this paper,a new sample preparation technique for TEM is introduced,taking the non-soap emulsion polymerized polyacrylic acid emulsion for example.The sample preparation technique includes: drop the viscous emulsion directly on the grid and then scrape the excess emulsion using a flat sheet,an ultrathin continuous film or discontinuous film will be formed on the grid when the grid was dried.Using this technique,the sample adapted to TEM observation can be obtained.The structure of polyacrylic acid micro-particle covering initiator and emulsifier was observed intuitively.Also,the self-assembly single-layer,double-layer and multi-layer film formed by closet packing polyacrylic acid micro-particle were obtained and observed.
