There are several pairs of contradictions in teaching： knowledge and culture, theory and application, supposition and production, outcome and process, deduction and reasoning, confirmation and falsifiability, argumentation and experiment. These contradictions have different epistemological basis, and we must correctly treat and solve them. Teaching should be cultural education with knowledge as the core, and a systematic structure in which theory, supposition, outcome, deduction, confirmation and argumentation are the main methods and the application, production, process, falsifiability and experiment are the subordinate methods.
