In the 1990s with the promoting of marketing economy comprehensively, the change is also on the agenda of literary system. Literary journals began to face challenges and crisis. But as the creation concept of pioneer novels is generally accepted, more avant garde novelists appeared. As a literary trend, it radiated throughout the country. More literary journals had begun to accept it though the literature was gradually marginalized. Especially the Harvest and Flower City provided a lot of support about pioneer novels. They witnessed the transformation of pioneer novels.
