In order to give the selection method of materials at R→0 and R→1, the formulae of the reflection coefficients in different layered media are discussed. When the media are two layers and three layers, the new relations among parameters of the materials for R =0 and R = 1 are given, and the physical meanings are revealed. Some examples are shown as the theoretical foundation of the applications.
