In order to meet demands of the transformation and development of universities, the materials science and engineering major revises the training plan in time and actively explores the collaborative innovative talents training teaching model of "cooperation between production and teaching, cooperation between school and enterprise". Furthermore, a practical teaching system is built to improve the quality of applied talents. The general goal is training the engineers and technology talents who have both a strong theoretical knowledge of materials science, but also have a high practical ability and innovative ability to adapt to the socialist market economy development.
