现有荫罩式等离子体显示屏(SMPDP)等效电路模型的建立,是基于所有像素特性一致,同时工作状态相同的假设,因此在其仿真应用中存在局限性。文章在原模型基础上进行了改进设计,提出了多放电单元矩阵排列式等效电路模型。该模型在原电路模型的基础上增加了寻址电极驱动IC和数据电极驱动IC电路,同时复制了多个放电单元等效电路模型。该模型在实现原等效电路模型各项仿真功能的基础上,还能实现原模型所不及的仿真功能,例如寻址期工作特性仿真、像素单元特性不一致对整屏性能的影响、相邻像素之间相互影响等。通过在PSpice环境下对矩阵排列型等效电路模型的系统工作特性仿真,所得结果与实验测试结果基本一致,因此该模型具有良好的等效替代性,适用于今后对SMPDP的系统设计与优化。
All the cells had been assumed as having the same property and working at the same state during the establishment process of the last equivalent circuit model of SMPDP. Therefore, limitations exist within the simulation applications. The novel matrix-arranged equivalent circuit model of SMPDP with multiple discharge is presented in this paper. At the same time, the equivalent circuit models of the scan electrode drive IC and data electrode drive IC are added to the SMPDP driver system. This model can realize not only all the simulation studies of the original SMPDP equivalent circuit model but also some new simulation studies, such as the working characteristics during the address period, the influence of the cell uniformity on the panel performance, the inter-cell effects. The simulation result in PSpice, which is based on the novel matrlx-arranged equivalent circuit model of SMPDP, shows high compatibility with the experiment result. This model is more suitable for the optimization work on the SMPDP system design in the future.
