Audio--visual language is a foundation course in film and television arts specialty. The traditional teaching attaches importance to its base but lack of professional pertinence. Animation is a typical audio--visual art with unique aesthetic style. There are many differences between animation and traditional visual art forms in professional knowledge. Therefore, ani- mation audio-visual language courses teaching should make appropriate adjustment and reform to improve teaching quality.
