An embedded and wireless security defensive and alarm system based on GPRS is designed for smart home. This system is made of control host with ARM9 S3C2410 and Window CE, USB camera,GPRS, sensor module and wireless module. When the dangerous situation is detected by the sensor, and is gotten by the control host with wireless module, the scene image is photographed by the camera. And the alarm signals will be sent out by the GPRS module. The WinCE operating system＇s transplant and the hardware drivers are intro- duced in detail. The design of hardware circuit is explained in detail.
