Based on the sustainable requirements of information-oriented engineering, a new evaluation model for In-formation Technology （IT） manufacturing capability was proposed. A three-level index system was determined from technology, organizational management and learning innovation perspectives. And IT capability maturity standard was put forward including fundamental, systemic, integrated, strategic and sustainable modification. Moreover, Analytic Hierarchy Process （AHP） and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation were used to calculate the index values and weights. Finally, a typical boiler manufacturing enterprise was evaluated by this model, and the result was discussed to expect to provide references for other manufacturing enterprises.
