槟榔江水牛不同月龄阶段体重与体尺的主成分分析

为揭示槟榔江水牛的生长发育规律,本文采用主成分分析方法对 46头槟榔江水牛公牛和 40头槟榔江水牛母牛的不同月龄体重与 10项体尺指标数据进行了分析。结果显示:各观测指标之间存在不同水平的相关关系。第 1主成分反映了槟榔江水牛外貌、体型结构的整体信息,公牛 6月龄、12月龄、18月龄、24月龄和30月龄第 1主成分的贡献率分别为 575%,417%,549%,540%和 670%,而母牛相应月龄的第 1主成分贡献率分别为 646%,483%,551%.531%,377%。不同月龄阶段的公、母牛第 1主成分主要表现为体重因子,而其他主成分则为不同的体尺指标因子,反映了该水牛不同月龄阶段体躯各部位的生长强度和发育状况。本研究结果揭示体重因子是槟榔江水牛公、母牛生长发育性状的重要变异来源;从 6~30月龄间,公、母牛的体重都有较大的生长潜力;但各部位在不同月龄体尺增长的侧重点不同。从 6~30月龄,槟榔江水牛生长发育总的趋势为体躯生长比四肢生长强烈,表现为体躯逐渐加长、加深和加宽,四肢相对变短、变粗。本研究可为阐明槟榔江水牛体型外貌特征及其生长发育规律提供依据。

In order to reveal the regularity of growth and development of Binglangjiang buffalos, the da ta of their body weights and ten body measurements obtained from 46 male and 40 female individuals were analyzed by using the method of principal component analysis (PCA). The results revealed that there were different level correlations among the surveying traits. The first principal component (PC1) reflected whole structure information of the body conformation of Binglangjiang buffalo which contributory ratio at 6, 12, 18, 24 and 30 month old for the male buffalos was 57.5%, 41.7%, 54.9%, 54.0%,67. 0%, respectively and was 64. 6%, 48.3%, 55. 1%, 53.1%, 37. 7% for the female buffalos, re spectively. The body weight was the main factor at different month old in PC1, while different body measurement factors were mainly displayed in the other PCs, which reflected the growth intensity and de velopment status of the different parts of body trunk at corresponding month old. The results indicate that body weights for both male and female Binglangjiang buffalo are the important variation sources for the traits of growth and development. Both the male and female buffalos have great growth potentials from 6 to 30 month old, but their body measurement gains in different parts of body at different month old ex hibit dissimilar pattern. The general trend for the body growth is that body trunk grows faster than limbs, which show that body trunk is gradually lengthening, deepening and broadening, whereas the limbs get relatively shorter and thicker. This study will provide the basis for further make clear the features of Binglangjiang buffalos about their figure and appearance, and the growth and development.
