壳聚糖具有抗菌、抗氧化、增强胶凝特性以及可作为生物活性分子的微型或纳米载体等优点.其化学改性和应用近年来受到广泛关注。然而,壳聚糖既不溶于有机溶剂也不溶于水,极大地限制了它的应用。在改性的壳聚糖中,聚乙二醇化壳聚糖不仅能保持壳聚糖的优点,还能提高水溶性,并能有效运输生物活性分子。本文综述了近5年间聚乙五醇化壳聚糖作为紫杉醇、阿霉素、5-氟尿嘧啶等小分子载体的研究进展,为今后的研究提供有益参考和理论依据。
Recently, the chemical modification and application of ehitosan have attracted great attention due to its important advantages including antibacterial and antioxidant properties, enhanced gelling properties, micro- and nanocarrier abilities for bioactive compounds. However, the applications of chitosan are greatly limited because of its poor solubility in either organic solvents or water. The PEGylated chitosan not only maintains the advantages of chitosan, but also increases the solubility in aqueous solution, therefore it can effectively transport bioactive molecules. In this paper, the progresses in PEGylated chitosan-based systems for delivery of small molecules such as paclitaxel, doxorubicin, 5-fluorouracil and so on during recent five years were summarized.
