The design and application of a high energy and multi-time ignition device applied in constant volume bomb is introduced in this paper. This device can solve the problem that the mixture of air and natural gas can not be ignited in the experiments of substitute fuel test, Through the analysis of ignition energy, it's found that increasing the ig- nition energy need to increase the ignition voltage or ignition current or discharge time. This device increases the ignition current and ignition energy and it can ignite the mixture of several status successfully.
