This paper studied the Sichuan Provincal inbound tourist market and it was designed to study the features of Sichuan rebound tourist market by spatial--temporal analysis. On the basis of analyzing Sichuan inbound tourism markets from 1996 to 2010, it concluded the annual change of inbound tourism market, the distribution of tourists, the situation of tourism consumption and the external competition. Many measures were put forward to promote the progress in Sichuan inbound tourism such as extending tourist market, optimizing tourist consuming structure, improving tourist product structure, enhancing corporation with neighbor areas, and planning proper tourism routes etc.
