基于劳动保护的不同维度,本文使用我国上市公司数据实证考察劳动保护是否限制企业的用工灵活性。实证检验的结果表明:随着我国劳动保护的加强,企业的用工灵活性显著降低,具体表现为劳动保护加剧了企业的员工薪酬粘性和用工粘性,还降低了企业的劳动需求弹性。这意味着企业根据自身经营情况和外部劳动市场价格变化而调整员工薪酬和雇佣数量的能力下降。进一步的研究还发现:劳动保护限制企业用工灵活性的现象在民营性质、劳动密集度较高和规模较小的企业中表现得更为明显。
This paper investigates whether labor protection reduced employment flexibility from different facets of labor protection system.The results indicate that the employment flexibility is decreasing with the strengthening of labor protection,specifically in aggravating the labor compensation and employment stickiness,and reducing labor demand elasticity.This means that the ability to adjust the number of staff salaries and employment in accordance with firms' operating conditions and labor market price changes has declined.Further studies show that the phenomenon above is more obvious in the firms with private property and higher labor intensity and of smaller size.
