The analysis and design of zeroth order resonator antenna supported by certain periodic structures of composite right/left-handed transmission line unit-cell is presented. Since the phase shift is zero in operational frequency 4. 8GHz, lowly directive radiation pattern can be obtained as a result that the field distribution of antenna would be in-phase. The antenna has been shown to have an effective frequency bandwidth of 26% and half-power beam-width of ±45° by full wave simulation, which is expected to find applications in future.
