On the basis of reviewing the hoist ropes drag, the traction chain suspension and the moving frame drive of the multi-car elevator, the types of multi-car elevator drive mode are studied, including chain wheel drive, motor-gear drive, gear-rack drive, linear motor drive and so on. The methods of setting fork of the multi-car elevator track and preventing the car from turning are given.
