采用真空蒸镀法在从型MH/Ni电池储氢合金电极上镀覆一层厚约0.1μm的Ni膜。研究了镀层对MH/Ni电池循环寿命以及充电时内压的影响。实验结果表明,镀覆在极片表面的Ni膜能够抑制合金的粉化和氧化,提高电池的循环寿命,同时也有助于增强电极复合O2的能力,并抑制充电时H2的产生,从而显著降低了电池在充电时的内压,提高了电池的充电效率。
The metal-hydride electrode of AA type MH/Ni battery was plated with a layer of Ni film of 0.1 μm by vacuum vapour plating method. The influences of the Ni film on the cycle life and inner pressure of the battery were studied. The experimental results demonstrate that the film plated on the electrode can restrain the oxidation and pulverization of the alloy and prolong the cycle life of the battery. At the same time, the film can increase the consumption of oxygen and restrain the generation of hydrogen during charging, so that the inner pressure of the battery can be decreased remarkably and the charging efficiency increased.
