数控加工仿真就是利用计算机仿真技术对数控加工代码进行验证,模拟刀具、工件几何体、加工环境、刀具路径和材料去除的过程,消除因程序误差而导致的机床、刀具、夹具损坏及零件报废等,提高加工的效率。然而,由于仿真过程中所用毛坯、刀具的数据量过大,使得仿真的速度很慢。为了解决这一问题,使用UniGraphics软件生成STL(Stereo lithographic)文件,通过VC跨平台调用STL文件,最终将其离散化为仿真系统所需数据,大大加快了后续仿真的速度,同时,使用STL文件可以增加系统的可扩展性。
The NC machining simulation is using computer simulation technology to verify NC code, simulating tool, workpiece geometry, processing environment, tool path and material removal process, eliminating errors caused by machine tool, cutting tools, the damage of fixtures and faulty part, and finally improving working efficiency. However, the data of the rough and tool are too large in the simulation process, which make the simulation speed very slow. To solve this problem, we use UniGraphics software generate the STL file, transfer the STL file through the VC cross platform, and get the data that the simulation system want, finally greatly accelerate the simulation speed. Meanwhile, using the STL file can increase the expandability of system.
