ArtiFlow是一种以数据为中心的业务流程描述模型，如何管理ArtiFlow是面向Artifact业务流程管理中的一个关键问题．ArtiFlow的设计方法和设计工具是ArtiFlow管理的基础，首先在介绍Artifact和Artifact系统的基础上给出了以业务流程中关键Artifact及其生命周期为出发点的ArtiFlow设计方法；其次描述了ArtiFlow模型中各元素的含义，并给出了ArtiFlow模型的形式化定义；最后设计开发出了ArtiFlow的设计工具——ArtiFlow Designer．

ArtiFlow is a data-centric business process descriptive model and the management of ArtiFlow a key problem in the artifact-centric business process management.The method and tool of designing ArtiFlow is the basis for management of ArtiFlow.In this paper,first based on the introduction of the Artifact and Artifact System,the method of designing ArtiFlow starting with the key artifacts and their life cycles in a business process is given.Second the meaning of each element in the ArtiFlow model and the formal definition of the ArtiFlow model are described.Finally,the tool which is dedicated to designing ArtiFlow——ArtiFlow Designer is developed.
