从金融地理学的视角出发，通过对近10几年来中国外资银行发展情况的研究，阐述了外资银行在分支机构、业务资产和经营策略等方面的发展动态，着重分析了外资银行在中国的空间分布情况．选取外资银行分行数量为主要指标，结果表明中国外资银行主要来源于欧美、日韩和中国香港等国家和地区，并且在环渤海、长三角和珠三角三大经济圈的空间集聚现象明显，但是不同国家和地区的外资银行区位选择的侧重点有所不同．
英文摘要：
In view of financial geography, the author expatiates dynamic development of branches business, assets and management strategy of foreign-funded banks in China due to study the development of foreign-funded banks in China for the last decade and focuses on the the spatial distribution of foreignfunded banks in China. Based on the number of branches of foreign banks as the main target, the study is to show that foreign-funded banks in China mainly come from Europe, North America, Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong, and the phenomenon of spatial agglomeration of foreign-funded banks in three economic cycles of surrounds the Bohai Sea, Long Triangle and Pearl Triangle are very obvious, hut different countries and regions have different emphases in the location choice of foreign-funded banks.
