In March 2009, Mexico and the United States have outbreak H1N1 influenza. Just a few months, the il fluenza has swept six continents, 136 countries and regions of the world. Until the early July, there were 9451 people who confirmed infection, in which, 429 people died of it. The cases of diagnosed and death are rising col tinuously, it causes great attention of countries over the world and the panic of some areas. This article tries to ou line the distribution and the spread of the early H1N1 influenza from the perspective of geography, through anal2 zing briefing data which updated daily in official website of the World Health Organization ( WHO), in the level, the time and the space, in order to provide the basis for taking more target - oriented prevention and control meas ures in the future. The result of the research shows that : The features of the flu are that the developed regions, wit a high level of economy and foreign relationships, are more early and serious than the less developed ones with low level of connection and transportation; the developed areas had the serious epidemic with a high spread. There is a trend that the epidemic spreads from the developed regions to less developed ones, and from coastal states landlocked countries; There are great differences in the number of influenza cases of different regions. There is certain spatial relationship between the distribution of epidemic and the distribution of population. For the epiden ic, the urban is more obviously than the rural, international metropolis are high incidence area of the epidemic The cradle of the epidemic and the vicinity are more serious than other areas. The spread of the epidemic conforn to the law of distance - decay ; Nowdays, transportation makes it differ from the previous spread of infectious di: eases, especially the continuous improvement of global aviation system provides advantages to the sustained ar rapid spread of H1N1 Influenza.
