本文基于竞争情报领域研究生教育培养视角，从学科体系、学科在国内外的发展、社会对学科的人才需求、独立设置二级学科的必要性和可行性、设置二级学科后的发展前景5个方面，论述了研究生学位点设置竞争情报二级学科的主要问题。认为研究生学位点设置竞争情报二级学科，社会环境和客观条件已经具备，对于竞争情报工作更好适应新形势下经济社会发展的需要、推动竞争情报工作全面跃升具有不可估量的战略意义。

英文摘要：

Be grounded on training postgraduates in competitive intelligence （CI） field, this paper studies the major problems about setting up a new second level discipline of CI in national postgraduate professional directory of china. Five problems are studied, as follows ： （1） on content system of CI discipline; （2） on developments of CI discipline at home and abroad; （3） on needs for CI advanced talents in society; （4） on necessity and feasibility of setting up a new postgraduate second level discipline of CI in national professional directory of China; （5） on prediction on future development of postgraduate second level discipline of CI in China. This paper argues that it is ripe for setting up a new postgraduate second level discipline of CI in national professional directory of china, and that the measure will he helpful for promoting CI cause of China into a new stage.
