Social Network Analysis（SNA） which originated from sociology and anthropology has been developed in the management research as an analytical tool and an analytical perspective.This paper reviews the origin of SNA method,the importance and necessity of its applying in the management research field,the related domestic literatures published in recent years,the main characteristics of SNA compared with traditional methods,and the features of common analysis software.The paper is aiming at SNA＇s further applying in management research and trying to provide some guidance of it.
