This paper deals with the essentiality and distinguishing methods of series- wound ditches in lower yellow river. It sets importance on analysis flow chart of blocking technology of series- wound ditches, including preparation, blocking chance, building dam wrap, reducing discharge, closure, and occlusion. Study of blocking technology of series-wound ditches supplies the technical support for blocking preparatory scheme and for the guidance of flood control.
