This paper is the notes of field investigation in Wuwei County on Road of Jade Objects and Silk Fabrics in 2014. Firstly from the wooden turtledove canes of the Han Dynasty unearthed in Hexi Corridor, it explores the origins of China's king canes and jade canes. And then through the running bronze horses unearthed from the Han Dynasty tombs in Leitai, Wuwei, it explains the origin of the myth of heaven horses. And finally through jade and horses, the two objects most frequently transported eastwards in the history on Hexi Corridor, it explains the material and spiritual interaction and its cumulated influence of transporting west jade to the East and heaven horses from the West, and the linking relationship of tribute trade between the dynasties in the Central Plains and the peoples in the West Regions, interpreting the reasons for China's being a multi-ethnic country with huge territory.
