With the pursuit of human potential freedom as its core goal,Marcuse＇s free value concepts have both the value characteristic of measurement with anti- productivity and the value function of human subjectivity construction with aesthetic reason,whose purpose is to establish the ideal value with no- repressive order. However,Marcuse＇ s free value concepts deviate from historical materialism and return to the traditional western rational fence methodologically,with freedom built on the aesthetic reason construction,therefore,freedom can be nothing but an illusion without social practice.
